Who we are
This website is operated by My Buddy Pet Care L.L.C. ("My Buddy Pet Care", "we"), with branches in Dubai Investments Park and Ras Al Khor, Dubai, UAE. We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Contact: hello@mybuddypetcare.ae.
What we collect
This website has no forms and no user accounts, and takes no payments. We only get personal data when:
- You contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and anything you tell us about your pet.
- You book through our booking system (Revelation Pets): owner name, contact details, pet details, vaccination and health records needed to care for your pet safely. Revelation Pets also processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- You use the cost calculator: we record which steps you reach and the choices you make (branch, number, type and size of pets, pet names, services and the estimate) so we can improve it. Vercel Web Analytics receives anonymous step counts without cookies; if you accept cookies, Google Analytics receives the full choices. We don't record contact details, and pet names that look like a phone number or email are discarded.
- You accept cookies: Google Tag Manager loads Google analytics and advertising tags, which record pages visited, clicks on booking/contact buttons, device and approximate location. See the Cookie Policy.
We collect only what we need to look after your pet and answer you. We do not ask for or store payment card details on this website.
Services that receive data when you visit
- Vercel (hosting and Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregated page-view counts).
- Google Fonts (your browser requests fonts from Google, which sees your IP address).
- Google Maps embeds on the contact section (Google may set its own cookies when the map loads).
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics / Google Ads — only after you accept cookies.
- WhatsApp, phone and email links open those apps; their providers' policies apply.
How we use it
To take bookings and care for your pet, contact you about your pet (including in an emergency), contact a vet when needed, meet legal and accounting obligations, and — only with your consent — measure website traffic and advertising. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
Our booking, hosting and communication providers listed above; veterinarians when your pet needs care; and authorities where UAE law requires it. Some providers store data outside the UAE; we only use providers with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Booking and pet records are kept while you are a customer and afterwards only as long as UAE law requires (for example, invoices and accounting records). Messages are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights and data deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. To request deletion, email hello@mybuddypetcare.ae with the subject "Data deletion request", your name and the phone/email you used with us. We will confirm your identity, delete your data (except what the law requires us to keep) and reply within 30 days. To withdraw cookie consent, use "Cookie settings" in the footer. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
Children
Our services are booked by adults aged 18 or over. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new "last updated" date.
